Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2025
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TSA Tracker website at tsatracker.com (the "Service"), operated by TSA Tracker ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
TSA Tracker provides real-time and historical TSA airport security checkpoint wait time data for informational purposes. The Service is free to use and does not require registration.
You may use TSA Tracker for personal, non-commercial purposes — for example, to check wait times before heading to the airport. You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from TSA Tracker at high volume without our written permission.
- Reproduce, redistribute, or republish the wait-time data from TSA Tracker in another product or service without permission.
- Use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair TSA Tracker's servers or systems.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
2. Informational Purpose — Not Travel Guarantees
TSA Tracker provides wait time data as general informational guidance only. Wait times are sourced from official airport systems but are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current at any given moment. Airport conditions can change rapidly — a short wait time can become a long wait in minutes during peak travel periods.
TSA Tracker is not liable for missed flights, travel disruptions, or any other consequences resulting from reliance on wait time data displayed on this Service. We strongly recommend that you always build adequate time buffer into your airport arrival plans, particularly for international flights, and to follow guidance from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and your airline regarding recommended arrival times.
3. Data Accuracy and Availability
Wait-time data on TSA Tracker is sourced from official airport authority systems and updated approximately every 2 minutes. However, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the data displayed. Specifically:
- Airport data feeds may be delayed, unavailable, or incorrect due to technical issues on the airport's end. When we detect stale or unavailable data, we attempt to flag it, but we cannot guarantee we catch every instance.
- Some airports may publish estimated or algorithmically generated wait times rather than real-time sensor data. We note this where we are aware of it, but airport data documentation is not always complete.
- The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Intellectual Property
The TSA Tracker website, including its design, layout, code, and written content (other than wait-time data sourced from airports), is owned by TSA Tracker and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any portion of the site without our express permission.
The underlying airport wait-time data is sourced from public airport systems and is not proprietary to TSA Tracker. However, our compilation, normalization, presentation, and historical storage of that data may be protected by applicable law.
5. Third-Party Links and Advertising
TSA Tracker displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may include links to third-party websites. We do not control those websites or advertisers and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Links to third-party sites do not constitute endorsement.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TSA TRACKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TSA Tracker and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which TSA Tracker operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.
